"Prepare-My Heart" Listening Groups

As we enter the final quarter of an unforgettable year, we can anticipate more shifting, changing, upheavals, hopes, and victories. It all invites us to listen more closely to our own hearts and to open ourselves to the Divine work. We prepare to create hospitable places in the new dynamics of home life, community engagement, and church life all on the cusp of Thanksgiving and Advent celebrations. How do we tend to the soul-work found in it all? One option is through a small listening group meeting together in spiritual direction.

If you are processing and preparing yourself for the days ahead, I invite you to a four-session Listening Group on Tuesdays beginning October 27th and ending the week before Thanksgiving. Join a group of three or four other like-minded individuals as we deepen our listening skills, explore our places of awakening, look for signposts along the inner life journey, and consider this new “liturgy of days.” This is also a great opportunity to experience spiritual direction as a first step to discerning if a direction relationship might be helpful as a regular faith practice, or you can use these sessions as part of your on-going conversation with your own director.

Four Sessions include: A Listening Heart, Awaken My Heart, Heart on Pilgrimage, An Abiding Heart.

The $40 registration includes materials to guide you, encouragement for journaling, and companions to support you via Zoom meetings. Commitment to all four sessions is important as space is limited.
